  • I am thinking of buying an old pop up, modifying, and camping away from people and hookups. I have a niece and nephew that would love it. What brand or years of an older pop up would you look for that would allow one to make the most cost effective mods? Which are made the best? I found a Triton on demand hot water system that looks like it would be great for hot water, and showers? Maybe using a barrel and pump? I want electrical outlets for small appliances. What do you suggest or have done?

  • Very nice job! If you lived in my area, I would pay you to build this for my pop-up camper. I have a nice 2011 Coleman with a modern system but it only have (1) propane tank and a marine battery. I'm currently trying to find the long J hooks so I can have a "back-up" tank. Love the solar system. Again, nice job!
