  • I love how Rage just explodes at the end, unable and unwilling to tolerate the father any longer.

  • @nathantim You don't like the lyrics? Try to buy the album it's a story in a rock-opera than listen again to the lyrics :)

  • Didgy!!!!!

  • I really need to get around to doing a metal jig dance to this song....

  • Metal + Didgeridoo = WIN

  • @UnleashedPassion1 try with inhale screaming

  • Townsend's performance at the end is actually Arjen's favorite performance in the whole album. I don't like grunts and black metal screams l but I agree with Arjen. That's quite an accomplishment to make me like these screams. Damn you Townsend

  • Ayreon is beyond epic, and with devin Townsend in this song is just wow

  • didgeridoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @charlesajones77 Ah my bad. I downloaded the album years ago. I figured cos the video had the guitars etc it was the album version. I've never listened to Star One. I need to buy the physical copy of this album it's too good.

  • @MrScary66 No, this is what the song sounds like on the album. Trust me, I own it. However, there is another version of the song that was done by Star One, another of Lucassen's projects. That's what you're thinking of. You can find it here on Youtube. That's the version the music video uses. The intro is shorter and the solo part is different. Instead of it being all Hammond Organ, it alternates between guitar and keyboard, and then it ends with electric violin. Agreed, that version is better.

  • @nathantim it's part of a concept album, it's about the main character dealing with his outrageous father who didn't support him and who was neglecting and abusive. This song is supposed to deal with rage, and hate, it's angry in nature. :) This is the first song I heard from Ayreon, and he's my favorite musical Artist
