Very nice, how long have you been playing for. My only suggestion is to work on technique more. Your fingers are flexing quite a bit, try keeping them closer to the keys, even when open. I've found the best way to practice this is by playing in front of a mirror. Once you are made aware of the problems in your technique they are incredibly easy to fix. I'm studying saxophone (Rascher school) in college and I still find something new in my technique to work on. It's something worth looking into.
nice job, dont see many girls playing pieces of this diffaculty at your age, wat with "dance" and "cheer" lol i like it alot, but the first movement it looks like you had sum rough spots, especially at measures 12 13 27 28 and so on and so forth, try to be more in sink with your pianist, it should also have been a little faster for a concert speed, it looked like you were holding back of fluking? i dont know, 2nd movenent, nothing i had a beef with, and the 3rd is a samba more creativity in that
been working on this for a few days. im only to measure 28 going about 2/3 the written speed lol. good thing solo and ensamble isnt until febuary. btw, im a freshman (9th grade)
You sound great! I recently started on this piece. I like your tone a LOT but wanted to hear a little more dynamic contrast in the first movement. Also, at 2:30 you should have been right with your pianist. Maybe figure out some way to cue him so you can be in sync better. Very nice 2nd movement, but when the piano came in with the melody I noticed serious pitch issues. In Brazileira the style felt a little too legato to me... it's a samba, so it should have a nice bounce. Nice work overall!
Very BAD piano!! The saxophone good!
