  • I had the same problem, note...all screws that you want to remove are on the topside of the cooler, partly under the rubbers. My glue still worked so I just put it back and it stuck. If it doesn't just use some rubbercement or a stronger equivalent.

Again, don't remove the rubbers under the machine as they hide no screws!!!!!

  • @silvergod6 Thanks for the tips as I afraid to remove the rubber feet. Previously, I guess the screws are hidden behind the rubber feet underneath the cooler. Fortunately, you told me that it hides no screws. Phew . . .

  • how do you open up the cooler? I remove the 4 screws in the upper part but nothing happens, some help?

  • @Hoaaghh Sorry. I have no idea how to open it up too. That's why I choose air compressor as an alternative to clean it up. :)

  • I need to clean mine as it has started making noise, but I don't exactly have access to an air compressor like that. Although mine does have screws to open it up as I believe mines a newer version.

  • @oompax88 Actually, I heard from other that mine can also be opened. The screws are located under the sticker and rubber feet. Are yours the same? Anyway, you can try to disassemble it and use a can of air compressor to clean it up. The effect must be the same IMHO. ;)

  • there are 10screws all together..the screws are all on the surface of the cooler. 6 out of the 10 screws are hidden under the rubber. Remove them and ull be able to find the screws, however please be aware that the u might not be able to stick the rubber back once ur done, but who cares right? Ull be able to open up the whole thing and clean the fans after that..enjoy...my notebook cooler is working so much faster now!
