I got saved in '77 while buying cocaine in Colombia with friends. Just like that!Several hundred thousands, perhaps millions of us got saved out of sexual perversion, drugs, occult and spiritual death. Nobody was in charge. No campaign. No church responsable.

It was all God and His great mercy.

I was not part of the Jesus Movement, but when I was a kid in orlando, those involved in it influenced Churches in orlando, Fla and the whole State..including catholics, Baptists, and the Assemblies of God. In many ways it lead to the Jesus Festivals in Orlando which ran for years. Their music influenced our churches. It was a great time in my life.

No one goes to Hell for being gay. People go to Hell for not trusting in Christ and not submitting themselves to Him (repentance of sin). I would hope that you already know that though, unless the Bible college really misinformed you? The Bible does teach that active, practiced homosexuality is a sin, but it is not any more of a sin than unlawful heterosexual sex (premarital or adulterous), which is found in every church. Christians really need to be more honest about their own sexual sins.
