i don't think we can compare the beatles with elvis they have different styles of making music i like them both there are beatles music that i love and other music that i hate and the same with elvis... but i don't think that one is better than the other its all about preferences

Yes as an entertainer of course he can, it would be ignorant to say otherwise. Not to mention how incredibly influential he was, obviously you are entitled to your opinion. I just don't think he was as talented as The Beatles on several levels.

So you personally think the Beatles were more talented - that's fine, no one would deny you to that- but to say it as fact, and imply no one can think Elvis was better is a little weird.

I personally think both The Beatles and Elvis were two great talented artists, but prefer Elvis Presley's music.

I never said that no one can think it, of course you can. The only point I made was that Elvis was not as musically talented as The Beatles, and that was nearly 3 weeks ago now. Nobody can question his place in music legacy, I will say again though Ringo was poor musically. Sick of these fans of Ringo who give my comments thumbs down and they haven't got a clue about music.

I think you have a point. It's like comparing Debbie Gibson to, what was that redhead's name, oh, yeah, Tiffany. Ha ha Anyway, Elvis sang. The Beatles sang, played instruments and wrote the music. Musically, The Beatles offered more talent. Elvis is entertaining, too, just not in so many avenues.

Exactly! Shame the vast majority of Elvis fans just see what they want to see.
