not many artists can really ad something of themselves in a cover and really make it their own piece. Somehow Tori succeeds at that quite often. Next to that she is amazing live. :-)

Love, love, love this piece. I love Tom Waits but this is a masterpiece to the 3rd degree... if you ask me.

I think this is my favorite performance of this song by her. The Letterman performance def had a different sentiment, but for my own listening pleasure this is my go to performance. I think it could only have sounded better if she had the big Bosey, I think this one is a bit smaller, the next model down.
