A seeker asks, why is there so much suffering and what is the purpose of this? Sadhguru explains that your handicap or poverty is not the source of your suffering, that the source of your unhappiness is you. (AO50)

  • Why do my comments get deleted. I don't post any hurting comments, do I then why is my comments gone??? Is the comments enlightening for open minded people so that's why my comments gets trashed. I challenge the guy who deletes my comments that if you can answer my question I will be your fan or will regard you as the greatest.

  • @splashcat A side note on creation. Actually all things interact and thus partner in creating the world. But of the entities on this planet only human beings possess the potential to be conscious partners in creation. Only people can choose to make the world a better place, to promote life, even when doing so may goes against one's impulses of the moment.

  • @naaggs Saying suffering is by choice is misusing words. No one suffers by choice who has another option.

But remember this is a rebroadcast of the guru speaking to students there with him. He says if one is willing they have methods to help them stop suffering, i.e., stop being in mental and emotional anguish.

He also says a happy person will want to ease some of the real pain in the world, which he distinguishes from this kind of suffering.

Humans are partners in creating the world.
