Commands:
sudo -s
sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.recvspace=65536
sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.sendspace=65536
sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.delayed_ack=0
exit

  • To reverse, restart your computer, the commands are only meant to be a quick fix for speed. You'll have to run them every launch if you want them permanently

  • On Lion there is no option to disable IPV6, so you'll just have to skip this step

  • @winmaungthein He said to skip that step if you're on OS X Lion. And you are on OS X Lion like me. Meaning, you don't have to worry about that, just skip that step and just launch terminal. After that put the commands one by one.
