This is my attempt at the Derek & The Dominos / Eric Clapton song Layla, the ending piano part. I love that song. It was written by Eric about George Harrison's wife, while he was still married (kind of strange.) They divorced and Eric married her, and I believe they divorced later on. Anyway, I'm not a big fan of the unplugged version because it lacks this part.

  • Hi,

I'd like to know where you got the sheet music for this song. I can't find it ANYWHERE!

  • @ChevelleSSLS6 I do not have the sheet music. I play by ear. Maybe google it? Sorry!

  • I am so envious, its scary.

How is it that so many people have posted this song on youtube, when the sheet music for it does not seem to exist?

  • I actually don't know where the sheet music would be. I only play by ear and I can't read music, lol.

  • Sorry about the sour notes at 2:32!

  • do you know where I can find the sheet music for this?

  • Your best bet would probably be to google it. Hope this helps...

  • Outstanding!!! The best I have heard!

  • I see you play it in D flat instead of C, which is what I do too. Most people I see play it in C, though the actual tuning in the song is somewhere in between C and D flat, and it sounds a bit closer to the D flat in my opinion. Does anyone know what key it was actually recorded in?

  • I wrote lyrics for this part of the song, a brand new one!

  • @andymst3000 Good ear. That's how I learned piano. Kind of wish I had learned to read notes first.

  • Fabulous

  • get a job.

  • When does Ray Liotta start narrating? That is outstanding! I just bought a piano, first in 30 years and I play by ear too. You did great!

  • i cant find the sheet music either.... This is the best one i've heard!!!!

  • Brilliant, could be the best on you tube.

  • This has got to be one of the best covers found on youtube ! Keep up the good work .
