One of the tragedies of being 16 years old and obsessed with 60's, 70's and 80's music is that I have never even gotten the chance of experiencing a live performance, or even to live in such a bliss time where this kind of music was what you could hear on the everyday radio. Sometimes I feel like I do not really fit into this time and age, where all you hear is shallow blips of noise mixed in a computer fixed together with some super auto-tuned voice. I envy older people a lot.

@ilglobulo The liner notes on 'Still' say recorded at Birmingham University 2 / 5 / 80. This means May 2nd, not February 5th 1980. The last ever Joy Division gig, 16 days before Ian's suicide and the only time they publicly performed 'Ceremony'.

I also have this full version of the live birmingham gig but for some reason mines has a lower key that sounds like the famous video of ceremony on youtube. Someone should check it out. :)
