David Goyer has recently been hired to write the script and plans to do a story where Superman will be fighting with Brainiac to have it so that his extraterrestrial side versus his human side. I wish an origin story could be included in the reboot because I would like to see a version of it where Krypton actually has cities and shows how the people there live their lives to help make it seem like another planet.

"take it in a direction you would not expect" didn't work for Singer did it! Don't fuck with the story dude!
"if I was ever going to go near Superman" doesn't really sound all that enthusiastic, not good.
Was not impressed by that interview so I hope he doesn't go near Superman. I also hope they don't approach Tom Welling to play Superman either.

Supermans origine is a pretty epic story in itself and we've only really seen it in the first Richrd Donner film in the 70's (in returns you only saw Krypton explode). I wanna see the full origine story. I think they can still do the origine story all they have to do is get permission and pay the owners of Superman for the rights to do so (like they should have done all along). But then since Donner, hollywood haven't had a clue how to do justice to the big daddy of all superheroes have they.
