Quentin stuck in his food bowl.

This is Quentin, when I just got him and he was six weeks old. He decided to roll into a ball when I bothered him and ended up getting stuck upside down in his bowl. I didn't put him in there like that, he rolled into that position all by himself.

I like how as soon as he gets himself unstuck he goes back to eating. hehe

He is now too big to even fit half of himself in the bowl.

As a side note on my pet posts, I often get comments about how much people "want one." I encourage you to read up on the proper care and treatment of all of these critters that you want. A pet is not a fashion accessory, collectible, or spur-of-the-moment item, it is a living thing and needs proper care, housing, nutrition, and most importantly attention. It also has hidden costs such as vet bills and food expenses. It is a big responsibility not to be taken lightly.

As a plea for animal welfare I give you this:
If you love hedgehogsand want one, I encourage you to adopt on from a private breeder or rescue one if you can from a shelter or rescue RATHER THAN a pet store. Pet stores support and buy their animals from mass breeders; people who mistreat, abuse, and neglect animals and are only in it for the profit. No respectable breeder would ever sell their animal to a pet store.

@ninjaofthe9seas - I have some friends who moved back to CA from Ukraine and they brought their hedgehog back with them, as long as the pet had its shots up to date and they showed proof of that, they were able to bring him there to California. They live in Orange county and have their pet hog with them....
