Terrifying Bebop-Javon Jackson Solo

I was jammin' out in the dorm room and figured I'd record one of the quick solos I had to learn for jazz lessons. This one comes out of a book called Approaching the Standards, and is a sax solo by Javon Jackson. It is intended to go over Charlie Parker's Billies Bounce. This thing was wicked hard, I don't care what anyone says. This thing is savage. I'll put up some improv vids when I get better at it.

its a gibson es 135. its a semi hollow. kinda like a cheap 335. the 135 is discontinued now so they have the 137, but the guitar is really good for the price, amazing sound and it has the classic 57 humbuckers like a lot of high end gibsons.

Awesome bro! I'm just starting to study bebop scales and phrasing on piano. This is great because the tempo is just right to actually hear what you're playing!

sounded like elevator music in the beginning but towards the end it had this blues rock sound and it was pretty cool man. keep jammin'
