Originally Purple Earthquake, Earth Quake was an American rock band formed in the San Francisco area in 1966, who released several albums in the 1970s. This song was off there first self titled LP. Great song.

  • KSHE will always be the "Rock of St. Louis". Without them growing up would have been an error.

  • i like much. never ear this band before. I like I like.

  • Haven't lived in St. Louis for 30 years, but grew up there, and I must say Sunday mornings were always something to look forward to with the KSHE Classics show. I still have this album but have not listened to this song in 30 years. Very good memories.

  • KSHE and Earthquake go well together during Earthquakes! We just had a 5.6, not much from these guys hometown, but east of Tulsa it was EARTH - SHAKING, as is this band. i can strongly recommend the 1st record, and am also fond of 8.5 as a live set....seriously, they did great work, don't be intimidated, just buy it!

  • Truly the best thing about growing up in St. Louis was KSHE 95!

  • Well, the last two comments mentioned K-SHE so......I'm sure as hell going to mention it to! GREAT K-SHE Klassic, that's where I first heard this awesome song! But the entire debut Earth Quake album is simply fantastic stuff, highly recommended.....

  • Heard this on KSHE-HD2 tonight - what a blast from the past - a great, funky tune!

  • A true K-SHE classic

  • Growing up as Tommy Dunbar's close friend, I loved Earthquake. The music still sounds just as good to me, and they helped the the birth of the best of Berkeley's 70's bands, "Jon Rubin & the Rubinoos." I feel very lucky to been there in that time and space. There was nothing more exciting than the Longbranch on a Friday night for a 16 yo girl, like me. And knowing them as people just made you love their music more. Today. I am still close with J & the Rub's. Rest now John Doukas,

  • Disco didn't kill 'em. I remember going to Robbie's place for an audition, listening to the recordings and thinking they were pushing too hard and lacked the character for studio. They did great live, where that doesn't matter... jeeze, long time ago...
