My maroon clownfish and anemone under actinic. I later find out that it's better to use more natural daylight or 50/50 lights instead.

  • @biowerks I was going to say tell me more but....... I Guess it's complicated

  • @samubabe101 Further research shows that it was actually a set of giesmann T-5's with Ice cap reflectors and ballasts. The engineers said that it was very complicated but they were able to get the job done.

  • @biowerks I thought it was LED.... huh. I heard it was a set of CREE'S but Don't ask it's complicated.

  • @VSKATEB Oh, I forgot about that radium bulb they put up over the great barier reef. It is pretty complicated.

  • @biowerks no dude there's a giant metal halide fixture over the ocean, dont ask, its complicated.

  • I like that you were able to capture the blue of the actinic Light without your camera correcting the color.

  • You are wrong. Natural sunlight is great for corals... What do you think they grow under in the wild?

  • very nice vid! 5/5

  • which kind of anemone is that?
