@WayTooManyPuppies Be still does.

In the 80's he was an outspoken Grateful Dead fan. In fact, my bud met him at a Dead show in Wisconsin. He had dragged the whole band there with him. He said that Rollins was very unimpressed.

Greg was/is/will always be Black Flag.

Damn right. Henry makes movies, so he's Black Flag to a lot of people. However, Black Flag, West Coast punk, hardcore and the organized underground that spawned the alternative movement of the 90s was Greg Ginn. He is the progenitor of it all. The Grunge guys were just rejects from Seattle trying to play My War.

An ex girlfriend of mine married him.

Isnt this interviewer the same guy that sings for Alice in Chains now?

He seems like such a nice guy and sounds much better at his instrument. I'm glad he's embracing the poltically incorrect jam band genre. I never saw what was so bad about people bringing more music to the 'band' routine......as opposed to the rampant narcisisism of having a singer........actually he seems to have done alot of that.
I know Henry gets a lot of attention and deservedly so, but don't forget Greg.

The most incredible guitarist that never stayed within one genre/style. Interestingly, Bob Mould is the only other guitarist that I can compare his directions with Greg. They both started with punk that evolved into something more within their bands. Then they played electronic/dance music & now they play a more universal-style of music. I think that SST roster had an abundance of talent. D. Boon thought above the line also. It's just great to see Greg still making/playing music.
