Kobe Bryant Amazing Commercial NEW [LD2K9]

Kobe Bryant banked in a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Los Angeles Lakers to a 108-107 victory against the Miami Heat at Staples Center, their eighth win in a row.

The Heat took a four-point lead with 9.3 seconds remaining, but Derek Fisher quickly cut the lead to one with a 3-pointer. The Lakers immediately fouled Dwyane Wade, who made just one of two free throws with 3.2 seconds.

Bryant took the inbound pass, briefly fumbled it, then dribbled to the top of the key where he launched a 27-footer that hit high on the backboard and bounced through the rim as the buzzer sounded.

"I liked my chances if I squared up and got the shot I wanted," Bryant said. "This was my luckiest shot."

Bryant, the league's second-leading scorer coming into the game, performed like himself for most of the night, scoring a game-high 33 points, including 25 in the second half and 17 in the fourth.

Wade, meanwhile, struggled from start to finish. Wade, who came in averaging 26.7 points, finished with 26 but was just 7-for-21 from the field and 12-for-18 from the free-throw line. Wade's teammates weren't much better, combining for 15-for-24 from the line.

"Missed them," is all Miami coach Erik Spoelstra could say of his team's free-throw shooting.

Wade did not make his first field-goal attempt until a slam dunk with two minutes remaining in first half. He added another dunk in the final minutes before Bryant finished the half with a fallaway bank shot at the buzzer while being guarded by Wade, giving the Lakers a 51-48 halftime lead.

Bryant also started slow on the offensive end. He didn't take a shot until midway through the first quarter and not long after picked up his second foul. He watched the remainder of the quarter from the bench. Wade wasn't doing much damage either, as he missed all four shots in the first.

The score was tied 76-76 heading into the final quarter. Bryant scored six points on the Lakers' first two possessions to extend the lead to six. With about five minutes remaining, Heat center Jermaine O'Neal and Laker forward Lamar Odom got involved in a shoving match after O'Neal hung on the rim following a dunk and came into contact with Odom, who spun O'Neal around. Both were given technicals, but it was Odom's second of the game, meaning an ejection.

The Heat twice took four-point leads in the final 21 seconds, but could only watch as Bryant sank the game-winner, handing Miami its fifth straight loss at Staples Center.

"We did what we were supposed to do," Wade said. "Fisher hit an unbelievable 3, Kobe hit that shot. We've done the same thing to other teams."

The Lakers improved to 15-3 on the season, near where they stood after 18 games a year ago (16-2). But the Lakers accomplished something against the Heat they couldn't do last season: the eight-game win streak is their longest since the 2007-08 season. Last season, the Lakers won seven straight three times.

All five starters for Miami finished in double figures while Udonis Haslem had 14 off the bench.

Pau Gasol scored 22 points and Andrew Bynum had 19 for the Lakers.
