I'm always saddened to find a good number of Sonic Youth fans who are shockingly close-minded when it comes to music.

Really, how is Emeralds hard to stomach? Very melodic and often beautiful; hardly as inaccessible as most "harsh noise" artists.

Did you go there to see Sonic Youth's new album? This festival has been happening for several years and hasn't been in Williamsburg before. I figured there would be someone going there for Sonic Youth and being severely disappointed.

Cool to see progression in music but this stuff was hard to stomach. And I wonder how many kids were there because they actually like the music and how many were there because they thought it was cool. To hell with WIlliamsburg and hipsters alike. Sonic Youth was a bust. Frustrating, Impossible to handle.
