@TheMrkingofbosna Chidori is a A class jutsu, Raikiri is an S classs jutsu.

@MarkusCaine nope chidori is only nature manipulation while raikiri is both nature manipulation and shape manipulation making (the last in a lesser degree then with rasenshuriken) it stronger but what people don't understand is that something like that can change as sasuke improved chidori a lot, they used to be one and the same but they evolved in different directions making them different techniques after some time.

@Goldendriger "Basically" Yes, but obviously there's those who stick to their opinion. It doesn't really matter to me, although I think it's better to say Sasuke and Kakashi have their own signature moves. So we see them as two different things. :)

@Chrisayhai Actually they're basically the same, in the same way Rasengan and Rasenshuriken are the same. One is a giant burst of lightning chakra which takes many years to learn and master due to power, speed and control needed. Making the user lethal in combat...and the other is Chidori =P

@TheMrkingofbosna correct me if i'm wrong guys. but didn't Gai-sensei said that Kakashi started calling it Raikiri when once in battle he sliced a lightning bolt with it? I also agree with peppledude
