Off the back of just one independently recorded and released EP, ART vs SCIENCE have crammed the kind of heady ascent in their native Australia experienced by the luckiest of bands into a timeline that belies their few short years. From regional clubs to national festivals, the three-piece have built an impressive following on the basis of two simple abiding principles: 1) Loud dance music, played 100% live and 2) Absolute, unrelenting fun.

In doing so they've become a live powerhouse; selling out shows, ascending to festival favourites, reaching #2 in national indie radio station triple j's Hottest 100 (one of the world's largest music polls), and regularly arresting the eyes and ears of all who witness their peculiar brand of madness. Or as one international headliner recently squeezed: "how am I supposed to follow that?" This is dance music for Marshall stacks - heaving/heavy heart music for your hips.

Earmarked by XFM as one of the 20 bands to watch in 2010, Art vs Science are pleased to release their debut single through long-time supporter Kissy Sell Out's label San City High. The double A-Side single features live favourites Parlez-Vous Francais?, Flippers and party-starting reworkings from Lee Mortimer, Decibel and Disco of Doom.
