This week's Street Prize saw Angus travel to Alexandria, near Dumbarton where G83 9QP residents shared an amazing £25,000!

The first port of call was a house containing not one, but two lucky winners! Brother and sister Robert Blair and Anne Colraine live underneath the same roof and both were recipients of £6,250 cheques!

"I thought I saw Angus coming up the drive!" said a shocked Anne. "This is terrific - I might buy a new car."

Robert revealed that it was his idea to sign up for the lottery and, when asked what he would spend his winnings on, said: "I'm not going to save it for a rainy day, that's for sure!"

Next winner 58-year-old Georgina signed up for two People Postcode Lottery tickets on a whim just last year, and had just popped home from work when she and retired husband Eric discovered their windfall.

I opened the door to Angus, saw a huge cheque and a camera crew and thought - this cant just be for a few hundred quid! the delighted winner revealed.

Weve just bought a car so the money might very well go to paying that off, and Im sure my son James will get a little something too, said the generous mum of one.

Georginas afternoon at work was certainly brightened after her win as she and co-workers celebrated with sparkling fruit juice and cakes: Everybody wanted to see my cheque, theyre almost as delighted as I am!

Not content with giving away £30,000, Angus had one more stop off before returning homewards - to the house of David Seymour, whose teacher wife found herself sitting pretty in a brand new MINI One! David had to laugh: She doesnt drive but shell have to learn now! he said with glee.

But its not just Alexandria residents who are smiling, as the Peoples Postcode Lotterys charity partners have received over £3.5 million in support to date - thats local charities such as local Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve Glen Moss and CHILDREN 1ST services across Dumbartonshire.
