Australian graduate James Pearson had a clear plan in mind when creating his showcase shot. He drew from life experiences to bring soul to his animation. After experiencing a recent break-up with his girlfriend, he decided to go for an emotional piece.
James explains that the level of facial detail necessary was a challenge for him. His mentor, Jay Jackson, provided him with useful feedback on detailed facial animation tips.
After attending Animation Mentor, James is dedicated to being a lifelong learner and values the many friendships and connections he's made.
Well done matey! good to see more Aussie animators out there!
