@KajDarkwind If I'm not mistaken, if a monster steal, he will steal GP only. It seems here the monster uses steal and then a custom message is displayed. At one point you can see that the steal didn't worked but the monster steal an item anyway. Then he probably throw the item according to which message has been displayed. You can't store an item number in a variable in a monster script, unless it was done in a custom AI command coded in assembly. Nice boss though!

interesting. Now that you mention it, I guess I never used it and assumed it was a throwing weapon like Fullmoon and Wing Edge.

@konkakonkadudu its the hawkeye, its nothing new mind you but it was revamped slightly in the GBA version

Well done! What weapon did Locke have equipped? Something new? Also, I think it would be cool to be able to break the damage limit just for the fun of it.
What I'd like to know is, how did you get him to use/throw the item he stole? Its easy enough to have him steal, and then throw something or use an item, but how would you have the game check to see what he stole, and use or throw the item accordingly? I'd like to know, I'd love to use that for some of my monsters, a big part of my hack involves stronger monsters with better battle scripts.

I love this battle. I think it would benefit from having a custom monster enemy sprite!
