The Democratic Republic of Congo's opposition leader has told Al Jazeera he intends to return to his country in time for the September elections. Nick Clark, reporting for Al Jazeera, met Bemba in Portugal's Algarve region, where Bemba said he feared for his life and the lives of his children.

  • This guy tried to seize power with violence and rebellion, and he says he likes democracy? You don't try to overthrow your own gouvernment with the help of a foreign power when you favour democracy.

    Also funny to hear him say "Kabila's duty is to guarantee my security" when he wanted Kabila dead a few years ago, along with his friends from Uganda.
