it's a rare artist who's so forthright about their personal trials and tribulations in an interview. and it's precisely that vulnerability and honesty that comes through in Cat Power's music, too. she's the real deal, folks, without all the bullshit posturing like so many other musicians. what a beautiful woman. what an amazing talent.
