Just wanted to know if once the jell-o has set and I take it out of the fridge, would it be ok at room temperature for a few hours before serving?

@HedleyFan100 We recommend keeping this cake refrigerated until serving. Although Jell-O gelatin can be kept at room temperature for 1-2 hours before getting watery, Cool Whip performs and taste best when served cool.

hey is the ice included in the 2 cups of boiling water?awesome recipe
TheCraphater 5 months ago
@TheCraphater You will still need to use 2 cups of boiling water. Then add 4 cups of ice cubes to dissolved gelatin instead of the 1 cup cold water; stir 8 min. or until gelatin begins to thicken and remove any of the unmelted ice.

About the idea of carving out part of the cake for the pool, what do you reserve what is scooped out for?

@KBAFourthtime Great question! You can feel free to use the removed cake for snacking or other use. I hope that helps and enjoy!
