Shaping my first homemade surfboard. The board measures 6'9"-2.75"-20.25". The fin setup is a quad using the ProBox Hawaii Fin System. It is an EPS core, bamboo stringer, laminated with epoxy and bamboo fiberglass. The building supplies, instruction, and tools to make your own board can be purchased from Greenlight Surf supply. Music on this video is from the album Mirror Conspiracy by Thievery Corporation. Now get out and make your own board -- it is so much fun and rewarding.

  • That nose offcut would have made a great bellyboard. I would have saved the tips as swallowtail extensions. Waste not want not. Nice job by the way!

  • @gt3107 - About 3 months -- working a little here -- a little there. Next time I do it I could do it in 1/4 of the time.
