Maniac Mansion C64 Intro

This is the intro to Maniac Mansion for the C64 as seen on Day Of The Tentacle. If you have a copy of Day Of The Tentacle and wish to access Maniac Mansion, simply go to Weird Ed Edisons room and say "Use Computer" 5 times and Bernard will say "Jeepers". After you do this, the title screen will appear.

THIS is the version I grew up with. I loved this game- never beat it- but I loved it dearly. Wish I could find it again for mac.

When you start playing Maniac Mansion within Day of the Tentacle, my recollection is that you are trapped in that former game, and can't return to the sequel, until you've completed it!

Actually, there is a way to go back to day of the tentacle. I can't remember how right now though. Oh well! The fact is, MANIAC MANSION OWNS!!!!!

That's very interesting variation of the theme music. It's not quite the C64 nor the Tandy version.
