Aliens resurrect dead humans as zombies and vampires to stop human kind from creating the Solaranite (a sort of sun-driven bomb). Named 'Worst Film of All Time' in the book "The Golden Turkey Awards".
Funny trivia: As the movie was partially funded by a Baptist church, several cast members allowed themselves to be baptized.
Love the way its switches from day to night all the time hehehe, classic

At 3:00 - death is a such a shock it causes you to grow a foot and hold your arm in front of your face while wearing a cape.

@TheMorbius1 Actually Criswell had something of a career before Plan 9, he was one of the more popular fortune tellers of the period and had a newspaper column AND did appearances of TV, including the Tonight Show.

Say what we like, Ed Wood had the courage (or pig-headedness?) to go and actually make movies and keep making them regardless of the reaction. If he managed to inspire anyone else to do the same, then his career was validated.

Movie fans may consider this the worst movie ever, but i feel that Mars Needs Women was a lot worse. At least with this flick you can't help but want to watch it over and over again.

Ed Wood's films were really made for stage plays. He assumed the audience could ignore the irregularities and enjoy the fantasy.

The UFO isn't as crap as it looks in the Burton movie.

06:27-06:52 Did anyone notice that it repeatedly switched from day to night at the exact same scene? No wonder this was considered the worst movie of all time when it came out.
