First of all, JSDF is an AWESOME military force. Just because it has "only" 200,000 troops doesn't mean it sucks, the quality of it's weapons/planes are among top of the world. It's just that the militarily superpowers today like USA, China, Russia and India are OVER-DOING it. Those 4 countries were militarily invaded brutally and colonized many times (mostly by western Europe), therefore, they try to assert their own power by being overly masculine. This then comforts their colonial mentality.

Why are so many offended by my comment?

Japan is glorious because they're warriors who don't make warfare. They can be stronger than ten nations when the shit hits the fan, but they are currently too good for warfare.

Some people need to swallow their pride and accept that violence is not the answer.

I'm not some hippie either. I'm currently in the ROTC program en route for Special Forces 18x. So take it from a soldier, war is not the answer.

People need to live like Japan.

@SolidSnake3131 fucking bullshit anyway if Japan have an Army or JSDF. Japan is 1 of the biggest warrior countries on earth. if Japan doesnt have been in war for around 67 years but in the Japanese blood the Warrior spirit still left. i think Japan is the same strong as they was before in WW2

Yeah that's true. You are correct.

Conflicts are smaller and not as destructive. It's closer to peace as it will ever get.

@AZDA9S Yeah, but the war on terror is much smaller compared to the wars before nukes.I am not saying that wars disappear with nukes, just saying that they are smaller and less devastating. Its true that a war with nuke would be horrible but since we haven't had any world wars in the past 70 years I think the rewards out-way the risks.Good civil debate were having!
