A pyramid of bedrock rises from the depths to a peak of 14 meters below the surface at this site. Away from the island the water is free of sediment but rich with plankton. Corals thrive in the clear conditions forming a beautiful patchwork on the rock while schools of small fish cloud over the formation feeding on the microscopic animals in the water column. Fast predatory fish such as tuna swim swiftly through allowing a fleeting view to the attentive diver.
