So I decided to dig out an old game that I haven't played in a long time upon re-installing Windows and making Windows 7 my number one OS rather than dual-booting.

Star Wars: Republic Commando is a first-person shooter Star Wars video game, released in the US on March 1, 2005. It was developed and published by LucasArts for the Microsoft Windows and Xbox platforms. The game uses Epic Games' Unreal Engine. As of April 19, 2007, this game is backwards compatible for the Xbox 360 with a downloadable patch.

The game is set during the events of the Clone Wars that started at the climax of the movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. In the game, the player is expected to take command of a Clone commando team, made up of elite Clone troopers. These 'clone commandos' have been specially bred at the clone factories on Kamino. The commando team will travel to various locations in the Star Wars universe, including Kashyyyk, Geonosis, and the derelict spacecraft, The Prosecutor.

  • when i the campaigne then it crashed and i have windows 7

  • What are your system specs? If you're using a more modern video card like a ATi/AMD Radeon HDxxxx card or an nVidia GTX card - I'd suggest turning off bump mapping like I've suggested to other people.

    It usually fixes the issue.

  • windowes 7?

  • Yes. I had Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit when I made this video but have since switched to 64-bit.

  • @lordaleksi that happened to mine to

  • @lordaleksi ok

  • You could try. Whenever I turned it back on, it used to crash while in-game (past loading screens) for me.

  • @LordReserei01 can i turn it back when i get to actual ''playing''

  • You need to turn bump mapping down to low from the graphics menu. That seems to be a confirmed fix for Windows 7/newer graphics cards

  • Does it work on windows 7 or is it just my when i tried to start the campaing it crashed in loading screen?
