Did you know that Bizet's Carmen became famous 100 years after his death? When he was dying he was convinced this was his masterpiece - the best artwork of his life, but society did not appreciate this game, therefore he was really disappointed. Few years later he died.

many people don't realize the immense amount of difficulty that lies under the practicing of opera. ive been studying opera and it is SO difficult and takes years and years to master. be thankful for the amazing artists who've worked their butts off to make angelic sounds when they open their mouths. just sayin
