@neothespian rofl i was just kidding. my cast iron is like a sacred relic in my kitchen... but imagine how pissed your mom or granny would be if you swiped their cornbread/biscuit cast iron.
@5ky5tr1d3r Body armor? Well you want something that has a smaller surface area (pointier) and harder (steel instead of soft lead) in order to pierce body armor, yes. But what does that have to do with 9mm vs .45 ACP?
@LateKnight347 That's right. If you go out without broken ribs (most likely you won't) :). Anyway, impact force from 12 gauge is more than enough to kick you out of ballance. But,in real, you will feel pain through vest- That's what draws attention, and you probably won't hit shit than-if you can do it continously, you're a phenomenom-sign in special forces
@5ky5tr1d3r my point was that a shot from a 12 gauge in the vest will move someone around too much to shoot back very well. getting shot with a 9 in the vest wont move the person much. im just talking about force from the impact not the pain factor. the myth buster show was disproving the movies that ppl fly around when they get shot. not the knockdown power isnt real. its called "blown away".
@LateKnight347 Whoa,is this about quick drawing or caliber impact force??? :) Hand gun 9mm will be drawn faster,if that's the thing...As for body armor, though none of these calibers can penetrate vest, certainly that 12 gauge will pack stronger punch...35 grams load??? Winning combo :) Even better, just PM me link to that episode of Mythbusters...I think i watched that episode, but can't remember the name
@5ky5tr1d3r nah i was talking of the impact force. ppl seem to think it is a myth because a tv show said so. lets say a man with a 12 gauge and man with a 9 have a gun fight. both men are have on a bullet proof vest and are 10 feet apart. i think that the guy with the 12 gauge is more likely to return fire than the man with the 9. id bet if 12 guage guy got the first hit in the vest he could get a second hit before the man with the 9 could shoot him back. i dont think the reverse is true

@ggreazy870 Do you KNOW how expensive quality cast iron pans are? I'd be livid if someone swiped mine

wish people would stop fooling around with bullshit frying pans in these videos and go steal a cast iron from your mom or something.

It's an aluminum pan, a .22 would probably penetrate it as well.
