@mangaanime3 croemy's right. Italian singer Massimo Alto sings the English version of the first opening, for example. While English is not commonly spoken in Italy, it is somewhat popular for Italian singers to perform in English (look up "italo disco.")

what ? I didnt know this was originally done by sophie monk. how come my english dvd set comes with the japanese version? i like the japanese version abit more though, maybe its because im used to it?

@animeholiic In all essence, Viz recorded English songs for the openings and endings of Inuyasha. Some of which you can find on here, but eventually just said "no," and never used them. Or they used them in other English speaking countries aside from the U.S. ... I see that a lot.
