@Rachulie My dad is from Lebanon but his mom (my grandma) was a mix of Persian (Iranian) and Indian. there have been arabs with blonde hair and green eyes before the french colonization (in syria, lebanon, and palestine) it wasn't uncommon. however, the little bottle of hair dye is very popular among my cousins, aunts, grandma lol! And yes! there are dark arabs in Yemen, Oman, and the Persian Gulf and yes, I also believe what you said about racism towards minorities over the years, its sad.

@MegaKrishan123 half arab, woot. which country? those with green eyes have french in them probably. bc french came to lebanon and syria. i wish i was dark. always have lol i think dark is so beautiful. u know, in the 50s ppl were horrible to american russians, in the early 1900s, ppl were racist to american germans, italians, jews, slavs. and 1800s ppl were horrible to irish. so, i think it's just another fad being racist toward us.

@Rachulie same here! only i'm half arab half black and my grandmother was indian. The problem is that many people dont realize that the middle east is very diverse. I've seen many arabs in lebanon, syria, and palestine who have blonde hair, green eyes, and fair skin. I've seen arabs in Yemen with dark (almost african) features. I'm very proud of my arab heritage and i hope that more western people take interest in the beauty of the arab culture instead of condemning it because.

she's the only other arab/euro american who looks like i do. i'm blonde and light skinned. even my own arab/euro american cousins are dark with dark hair. im syrian and 'white.' like her, i love my arab identity even though i dont live in an arab community. and i always get 'you cant be arab.'
