President Barack Obama is challenging students this year to get serious about school not just for their own good, but for the good of the country. Dropping out of high school? It's not an option, but also Obama said all Americans need at least one or two years of schooling or training after high school. ThreeSixty interviewed area teens and educators about their reactions to the president's statement.

  • @AnnoyingXboxer i agree with your statement it's movtivation that helps people.Besides high school make it so that they are trying teach how work for someone. But there are many ways get your diplomia

  • Give education back to the parents!

  • If everyone gets a high school diploma the diploma becomes meaningless.

  • Wow.. These kids are so indoctrinated its not funny... I dropped out of High school, got my GED.... I then attended a college and now i make more money then most of my friends who passed high school did.

High school does not dictate how well you do in life, its motivation that does. Dropping out of school could be one if the best things i ever did.

  • Would NOT hear my case when fought. Therefore, I dropped out of that system and obtained my GED and now have a Great job making more than those who have obtained College Diplomas in Various Majors...

  • I dropped out of High School the second week of my sophomore year....I obtained my GED shortly after with 800's in every subject, missing a completely perfect score across the board by ONE question. That was simply due to my own mistake on my scoring sheet..I'm taking college courses maintaining a 4.2 GPA. I dropped out due to discrimination against my long hair and style, being Forced to sign a contract and being obligated to take Random Urinalysis', among other things. The school board

  • For future reference, sophomore has two O's.

  • @shaydig15 you know Stalin was huge on education and im dropping out
