I loved the paper throwing. The interviewer's reaction to having paper thrown back at him was beautiful. Many people wouldn't have handled that well. The 2nd was better than the 1st, as in the first you had 2 high status characters who weren't backing down, so you end in a fight. It went on a bit because of all the blocking. 1/2 way through the 2nd interview needed some escalation. 2nd applicant should have just accepted the paper being thrown at him which would have lowered him further.

Thanks for your comments. It is great for the low status guy to eventually struggle against the fact that he is being "lowered". That way we get transitions and change which drive narrative forward. As well it is fun for the viewer if the high status guy is taken down from time to time. Characters must be in a constant state of change, or struggle for change, so that they remain relevant to the story. If they don't change, they are not needed in the narrative.

Hey thanks for putting this up. I run my own clowning and physical comedy, idiocy workshops in the UK 'idiot school' and it's lovely to see this stuff up there. There was some lovely buoyant playfulness in these scenes. It was nice to sit back and just watch and 'see' the open moments and connection between the two performers. Those moments flash like electricity. I'm gonna subscribe...
