  • Gap trading .. good strategy

  • Do you not use options xpress anymore??

  • thanks so much alessio, these videos are very informative to me

  • Thanks for showing the basics, it really helps. It would be very helpful if you could maybe post a "how to" on how to actually go through the transaction using your brokerages (Fidelity, Scottrade, Etrade etc). It's my understanding that some like Fidelity make to sell short. Any thoughts?

Bottom line, most only know how to go long when placing orders with their brokerage.

  • Outstanding and real, thanks !

  • gracias

  • He had 10 contracts so each tick was $50 - I was not clear on if that was all of the Gap (that is what it looked like) but he kept mentioning half the gap. It looked like he went for the whole gap - was that because the gap was relatively small?

Would have been nice to see a profit/loss to see where the market orders filled.

  • Hello alessio. First thanks for the videos.

I am a complete beginner at trading, and i would like to understand how this works.Do you have any suggestion of books i could read ?

Following your advices and interviews, i have ordered some already, although i'm not sure if they are good for beginners:

"Volatile markets made easy" and "The Bible of options strategies" by Guy Cohen

"Strategies for Profiting With Japanese Candlestick Charts" by Steve Nison

    "Fibonacci Trading" by Carolyn Boroden.

  • You just forgot to say how much was the net profit (after spread)...

    34 ticks right?

So your 50$ have become... I'm gonna guess a 5 ticks spread...

    79$???

    So 29£ net profit???
