Get crystal clear sound quality through your iPod FM transmitter wherever you go by setting your transmitter to International Mode. This will only work if your car stereo is capable of going below 88.1

To see if your transmitter has an International Mode, refer to its manual or do a Google search on it. (for example search "(your transmitter brand and model) international mode"

  • Would this also count for the iTrip AutoPilot or DualConnect? if not can you please tell me some fm transmitters with international mode(any of the Griffin iTrip's because it doesnt say on their website :/...Thanks:)

  • @moemoneygt500 I do not know if those have international mode. Try doing a Google search for the model you want with the words "international mode" and see if you find an answer. That's what I did with my iTrip before I bought it.

  • Hey Thanks for the Video but, I do have channels bellow 88.1 but they all have the same static level sound as all the other empty channels.(Still noticeable static noise) Is this the same with you/Normal. Or is there any help. Plus does the FM have the same base and sound as your normal Radio stations. And also, does a cassette adapter have better sound compared to the transmitter.

    Thanks Respond ASAP!

  • @xXxS4v4g3xXx Hi, thanks for the questions. I haven't had the problem of static on the frequencies below 88.1 (I use 87.7 exclusively and never have any static no matter where I am). If you get static on the lower frequencies then I would just try to find the clearest station and use that. When using the transmitter you will not have the loudness of volume and/or bass as with regular radio or cd's. That is normal. As for the cassette adapter, I have never used one. Good luck

  • @MyTechMethods It does, actually: "Rocket" by Kevin MacLeod.

Is there a way to lengthen the antenna with a piece of wire like other Fm transmitters?

  • @HarvestmanMan Thanks, yes Rocket is the song used for my intro but I think he was asking about the song I played through the car speakers. Anyway, I have never needed to lengthen my FM transmitter antenna. Is there a reason why you are needing to do that?

  • Too bad I live in California, where Mexicans blast there radio stations across the boarder on every freakin' channel.

  • @jrblues55 It's just a royalty-free beat that was made with a music program. I don't think it has a name haha. It's pretty cool though isn't it?
