No, I did not make this for a school project of any sort...
I've been dealing with depression since I was young, it runs in my family...I dealt with no one helping me, and Ive dealt with feeling alone....and what it can do to a person is by far the hardest thing anyone would ever have to go through.

Dealing with depression is one thing....dealing with it ALONE is another.

No, I really wasn't commiting suicide in this video, I was simply acting it out. Have I thought about this before? Yes. Have I attempted it. Yes again. Have I overcome it? No, but am I better? Yes.

you dont get the point of the song. it's about a dead grandfather and dead son talking about their daughter/mom who is sad about why they both died...

Its not about the "point" to the song. For one, the song wasnt actually WRITTEN about a grandfather, son, grandma and daughter, etc.....it was about goodbyes in general. The official music video for the song put a total twist on the song itself. As with about every rascal flatts song, you interpret it how you want to....I decided to make an awareness video and this song fit....

i have been depressed all my life, i am so lonely, yet i will not let it show, i can't because i am the one that has to be strong for others, people look to me for advice and help, to lead them in life and work. but there is no one for me to talk to. i carry many burdens willingly for who would i be if i did not try to help others, and still when all is done at the end of the day there is no one to go home to, no one to talk to. i hope that it does not get too late for me, but who can help?

I need help but stupid people or I should say Dr want to rip u off for services. Im currently suffering. And a lot of the time I think what would. It be like to spread my wings and fly then I think of my kids and I go deeper into depression. Pain I have sold almost anything valuable to pay bills and still I can't get presents for Christmas for my kids every. Night I cry and when nobody is looking I do it more
