Peter Stark sounds to me like a good guy and the fact that he is an atheist is absolutely irrelevant and just shows the person posting to be a dumb ass.

I know of this bill that was in question. It was intended to get to the higher-ups in the chain in command. Far too often the lower ranking enlisted members end up taking a bullet for policies and standing orders of their chain of command. Why does this make Pete Stark a soldier hater? Read the bill!!! None of the higher ups of Abu Grabe went to prison, look what they did to the criminal soldiers that followed the orders. The general and colonial got service medels.

@PsychoSymantic He's not the only atheist in congress anyway. I won't say I'm a fan of him, but he's an outspoken and brave (maybe to the point of arrogant) guy. That's the reason he's brave enough to be HONEST about his atheism. A lot of politicians would rather hide their nonbelief, as the sheeple don't care much for "godless men".

@tractorkid223 contrary to lies of hate groups, immigrants don't "take jobs away" from swell white "real Americans." Immigrants are also CONSUMERS, and create as many jobs as they fill.
Stark is right, the so-called "border security" is nothing more than bigotry. Obama is deporting real criminals, but those who've done nothing but be victims of our screwed up immigration system are not criminals, and should have a path to legal status, like the DREAM Act.
