@nigelholland3 yeah they have always been that way....mr.roberts and mr.hubert came from FAMU....they just had one HB from jsu when mr.roberts went to the county but still had the meac concept....the band directors back then just demanded more sound and the bands were bigger....the swd now is real big on concert band....which is still strong in marching band

@sousa09rhs as a brass player and a sax player i must ask that you prohibit yourself from calling the sax inferior to anything before i get mine out and play ya girls panties off lmao jk... but seriously though... at the end of the day its all about the saxes and B-Tones of course (my main two instruments)

YO! IDGAF WAT ANYBODY SAY! SWD went to ham that night! i play Tuba 4 avondale and yeah i admit. Even tho i believe in pride for your program i still say SWD is one hell of a band program and has been 4 a while. I relly wish i coulda came and marched for yall but didnt wanna after 2 years at the dale! but yeah big props out to SWD who got one hell of a tuba line but i think i can wipe the floor with them all lol! anyone open for a friendly competetion? lol

i DON'T KNOW WHAT YALL ON HERE TALKING ABOUT!!!!! SWD WAS BLOWING!!!.....THEM NIGGAS SOUND LIKE A COLLEGE....I MEAN IT IS WHAT IT IS!!!.....PEOPLE GET ON YOUTUBE AND TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE BUT THE OBVIOUS!!!....THEY SOUNDED GOOD!!! IM SORRY IF YOU CANT SEE THAT THEN SOMETHING IS WRONG!!....They had the best BALANCED sound that night!!!!...not to take anything from the other bands like RHS, MGHS, SHS, and WHHS who ALL sounded good, but this is not an average high school band...
