It is indeed. I think he's identified @ about 55 seconds into the piece.

Dobson builds a certain kind of organ. The "Skinner." as it exists in the cathedral today, will be ruined. With the Skinner, the silk purse is already present. The Dobson "sow's ear" will not improve it one iota.

Listen to the tuba chorus at 05:20 - Is the Dobson doesn't do this, I will consider it a total failure!

True - any 'rebuild' or 'improvement' which alters the existing tonalities of an instrument are a step backwards. Spend some time at St. John the Divine in NYC and you will hear how a proper rebuild is supposed to sound - nothing has been taken away from the existing instrument, and the minor tonal changes enhance the entire instrument We can only hope for the best for this instrument, since the Cathedral authorities have already made up their minds with Dobson...

SJtD is a perfect example - I can appreciate that the NC organ is currently far from what Skinner intended and built, and Dobson builds a good instrument, but like you say he has his sound, and I hope the intention here is to not put in a Dobson.
