Beach at the Playa Pesquero resort in Holguin, Cuba (part 1)

Notice the sheets of rock, which became visible after hurricane Ike's erosion of the beach's coastline in September 2008. According to Carlos, a lifeguard at the Playa Pesquero resort, the ocean retreated by nearly 30 feet as a result of hurricane Ike.

@drewyisation, first of all, God willing, have a safe trip. In terms of sea urchins, I didn't see any of them; however, to be honest, I didn't go into the sea all that often. Just be careful with the rock in the sea, it looks a bit slippery. FYI, the food was good. So have fun. God bless.

barcelo is just plain awesome, that is where i went and everything was just awesome, except for the flight that was very bad... the beach is a 1.5 km walk , room service people are very ''cool'' with you and it's just an all around great place.

activities:10/10

beach: 9/10 ( it can be super windy )

@HaKYmasstherat, that's because I was there at about 7:30 am so that I wouldn't make anyone feel uncomfortable if they saw me with my digital camera.
