After I got all of my electronics setup and hooked up to the "Watts Up" Watt meter, the amps are jumping around at a constant stick position. This is my first brushless motor and am not sure if this is normal for the motor or watt meter. Also at the end the motor seems to act like it is skipping when I push the stick forward till the motor tries to spin, but once I give a little more power it acts normal.

  • Thanks my ears are bleeding...

  • Try a different ESC. It happened to me with my big P-47. at the beginning the motor didn't want to respond to throttle input, jumping to life suddenly passing 1/4th stick.

This caused a total loss of control at 100feet and the plane was totaled.

  • Did you find what causes this??

I still don't have the ESC and cannot start my motor (brushless/outrunner) with only a battery or adapter 12V--it just sticks.
