  • wow!!! u must have got a massive adrenalin rush out of that!

  • You have no idea how sick in my stomach i felt running in front of so many people at the Sydney Royal but i was lucky it was over in 22 seconds.LOL

  • How do you start training for this? We had a practice on an agility course for fun at our dog club xmas party and my dog (mastiff x Staffy) loved it and one of the trainers said she looked like a natural. It wasn't something I ever considered doing with her, but she seemed to love it. How long did it take for your dog to get that good? My dog has just turned 1.

  • Hi

I have trained dogs for many years so i started Splash at 16weeks on very basic stuff of course and in a couple of weeks she will be 3 .Starting now with your dog would be really good you can not start competition until the dog is 18months of age so if you start now he will be well and truly ready in 8months of course it does depend on how much time you put into training i train Splash up to three nights a week .Get into it and you will become hooked.

  • OOPS did not realize the first one went through i hope to see you at some agility competitions soon with your extremely cute looking dog.

    See ya Sam and Splash

  • Hi there

The courses are sometimes harder as the judges have to plan the courses around large posts all over the place so that the humans and dogs do not run into them being my first time running at the Royal was very worrying but once i was running i forgot about them and i did not run into them.PHEW!!!!Thanks for your comment and iam sure you will be there next year with your dog.

    GO FOR IT!!!!Sam
