I get the following channels: 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 4.1, 5.1, 7.1, 9.1, 11.1, 17.1, 17.2, 17.3, 23.1, 25.1, 26.1, 26.2, 26.3, 29.1, 29.2, 36.1, 41.1, 44.1, 49.1, 49.2, 57.1, 64.1, 66.1. I will get ION 51.1, 51.2, 51.3 only late in the evening. I have not tried to get ThisTV 67.1. I face southwest, and am on the second floor and am located west of Mavis Rd on Dundas St.

how much do u charge for the installation in GTA

I've been working with indoor antennas in Oshawa and finding that CBC is about the only Canadian station I can get in. And even that is limited to good weather.

I installed a customer in Whitby recently and he was getting 40 channels. He was actually picking up Erie, Pennsylvania. His house sat high on a hill and he could see both the lake and Toronto. It pays to have the right antenna installed and have it done properly. It also helps if you are in a good location.
What if I don't have an HD set? Can I get even more channels with analouge?

@DoBe0001 If you don't have an HD set you can still get analog channels from Canada. Typically all of the Toronto and Hamilton channels that are digital also broadcast in analog as well in addtion to TVO which is only analog and is on channel 19. If you purchase an analog to digital tuner (ATSC tuner box) it will convert all of the digital channels from Buffalo,Toronto and Hamilton to be viewed on your older tv.

@DoBe0001 Sorry to take so long to reply. Analogue has actually gone the way of the Dodo for all of the major networks in Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo as of September 1st. So if you have an older TV set you need to purchase a digital converter box to allow you to watch the digital channels on your analogue television.

Hi does the refresh rate of the tv affect the quality of pix for OTA HD signals?
WMsReligion 10 months ago
@WMsReligion Refresh rate does not affect picture quality although some feel that a 120hz refresh rate is better for fast action sports like hockey.
