Amanda vents to Sam about Iris having the nerve to show up for the party and stay until the end. Sam agrees that he doesn't know why Iris stayed, because Mac isn't going to show up, and he has to tell Amanda to calm down when she gets really worked up. Iris is in the shadows and overhears everything. Amanda then wonders where Rachel is, and Amanda and Sam go looking for her.
Rachel and Evan are still unconscious and trapped in the boiler room. Janice Frame is trying to entice Rachel to let go and come into the light with her.
Amanda and Sam don't find Rachel, and Amanda's starting to get worried. Gwen tries to sneak past them on her way off the yacht, but Sam says hello to her. Gwen is very edgy and hurries through her goodbyes, then leaves. After Gwen is gone, Sam says that Gwen is really strange. Amanda says that Rachel said Gwen wasn't always like that, but she's still glad that Gwen is off the boat. Amanda and Sam then go to look for Rachel again.
Janice is still trying to entice Rachel into the light when suddenly, a man's voice calls Rachel's name and tells her to turn away from the light. Janice yells "No!" at the man, but Rachel turns from the light to look behind her and see who it is. It's Steve Frame!
Rachel and Steve talk about Jamie, baby Steven, Mac, Iris, Rachel's family, Evan, Janice, Gwen and Willis. Steve tells Rachel that it's not time for her to go into the light; Mac needs her more than she knows, and Willis and Gwen were wrong to blame Rachel for Janice's death. Rachel is the only one who can save Janice's son, and she has to go back because she's Rachel and she has things to do. When Rachel says she doesn't know how to get back, Steve tells her he'll help her.
Alone on the deck, a slight breeze ruffles Iris's hair. "Rachel?" Iris says aloud, and then she heads belowdecks.

How does Janice have brunette hair in the flashback but blonde hair in the light?

Gwen & Rachel were really good friends back in the day. Remember they were each married to Frame Men. Rachel to Steve, and Gwen to Willis. Rachel & Janice hated each other, she and Mitch were going to murder Rachel and steal her money but Rachel found out, a fight ensued and Janice died. Gwen blames The Corys because she lost all of her money, even though it wasn't even their fault but I think we meet people who at one time or another blame "someone else" for their problems.

what a beautiful scene between Steven and his ex wife Rachel! Two wonderful actors, (along with Christine Jones), how
I wish they would return to daytime tv. I rather come to youtube and watch the old soap clips anyday, than watch the stuff
being done today.

FebWriter has now made the St. Croix flashback available in a separate clip. It's quite striking that the St. Croix storyline was still relevant in this AW clip from 9 years later. Where is that storyline continuity on soaps today?

I think maybe they were trying to forget the resurrected Steve/Alice/Rachel triangle from 1982. That was painful to watch.
Even though Gwen was nuts in the Anniversary episodes she was awesome to watch. Great actress with incredible comedic timing.

This is where Donna Swajeski screwed up history. When Steve Frame first "died" in 1975, Jamie Frame was a teenager, and then when he died for real in 1983, Jamie was an adult. I don't know why Rachel said she spoke to Steve when Jamie "was a little boy."
